“Riding for the Long Haul” has come and gone. A great event in that the State, Healthcare Community, Motorcycle Community, Glendale Police and Fire, Insurance, attorney’s and other Business came together to promote Motorcycle Safety and Awareness. This is a first and we are very proud of that fact. AMSAF’s goal is to help reduce motorcycle crashes and fatalities and this event was a great start in that direction.

Throughout the day all of the vendors/sponsors promoted Safety and had a lot of free items as give away at their booth. Every half hour throughout the day we gave away 3-5 raffle items and 20 Motorcycle Training Courses from AMSAF. We had over $10,000.00 in raffle items alone for the day and on top of that we had a number of Grand prize winners.

Our Emcee, Jim Moore did an outstanding job as he always does and got a lot of interviews and at the same time had some fun with all the attendees. Young Molly O’Grady was on stage with some Rock & Roll Music to keep us entertained between raffle drawings. Did you see the Helicopter from Native Air land for our event?

Bryan Roper, the number 5 Trials Rider in the United States performed and really showed us how to ride a bike. Some key takeaways from his performance were safety gear and that Motorcycle training is important. Motorcycling can be dangerous and you want to be prepared at all times with training and the proper gear.

Motorcycle Safety and the reduction of Motorcycle Crashes and fatalities are important to everyone. That was apparent as some of the top Leaders in Arizona stopped by to help promote our event and our goal. A special thank you to the following Leaders:

This event was put together by a team from AMSAF, HealthSouth, Banner, Brain Alliance of Arizona, and Dignity Health. This was a team that put a lot of work into making it a successful event. We want to especially thank HealthSouth for partnering with AMSAF and for their over-the-top support for this event to include many volunteers that day.

On behalf of the AMSAF Board, we would like to thank everyone for their support for “Riding for the Long Haul” event and for helping AMSAF and all of our Sponsors help to reduce Motorcycle crashes and fatalities in Arizona.

A huge THANK YOU to all those that attended and for our very Special Sponsors who helped make this successful.
