John W. DenBoer, Ph.D.

AMSAF volunteer John W. DenBoer, Ph.D.is a licensed psychologist, clinical neuropsychologist and sports psychologist who currently serves as a clinical neuropsychologist and sports psychologist for The Nicholls Group in Scottsdale, Ariz. There, he primarily is involved in adult neuropsychological assessment and consultation, specializing in the assessment of adults with traumatic brain injury/concussion. In addition to his job responsibilities, DenBoer supervises graduate students and post-doctoral students and is an adjunct professor of psychology at Arizona State University.

DenBoer has been recognized for his talents in the Phoenix Business Journal’s “Health Care Heroes,” by the Arizona Psychological Association’s for Distinguished Contributions, the American Psychological Association,  and many more distinguished institutions. DenBoer is a member of numerous organizations including the International Brain Injury Association, the Arizona Neuropsychological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the  International Neuropsychological Society and the American Psychological Association, among others.
