AMSAF is growing and many new things are on the horizon.  If you have seen the latest flyer, Share the Road and Ride for the Long Haul Fundraiser, you are on track for something new and exciting while AMSAF continues to assist riders become safer by providing scholarships to help supplement the cost of motorcycle training both for the beginner as well as the seasoned rider.

One of AMSAF’s key goals is to be able to raise money so that we can help the community.  AMSAF’s need to define an event that could be held each year to help reduce motorcycle crashes and focus on Sharing the Road in helping to reduce fatalities and raise awareness.  Riding for the Long Haul was developed to become the AMSAF signature fund raising event.  As we grew we found the need to focus more on Share the Road and really focus on the bigger picture in helping to reduce crashes and fatalities in Arizona.  So, for these reasons, AMSAF has decided to expand the Riding for the Long Haul event to Share the Road and Riding for the Long Haul.

The Riding for the Long Haul event, normally held at the Shrine Auditorium, will no longer be a February event starting in 2020.  Instead there will be a major fundraising event held each year at the beginning of May to coincide with the States Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.  The event will be a fundraising dinner titled Share the Road and Riding for the Long Haul Fundraiser. Help us make a difference in Arizona by helping us to reduce crashes and fatalities. Together we can make a difference.  More information will be coming soon.  Continue to watch for updates on this event on the AMSAF website and Facebook pages.
